Where Can I See Call Me by Your Name

On "MONTERO (Call Me Past Your Name)," Lil Nas 10 wants to stop pretending with his significant other and act on a first-proper noun basis. The vocal's title references Lil Nas X's real name, Montero Lamar Hill.

The runway first surfaced as a snippet on Twitter in July 9th, 2020. In November of the same year, Nas X stated that "Call Me Past Your Name" would be the next song he'd release, announced via Instagram Alive.

On February 2nd, 2021, a Super Basin advertizing for Logitech starring Nas X was released, using the song. Information technology was revealed in the advertisement's description that the vocal was called "Montero (Phone call Me By Your Name)."

Lil Nas X later partnered with MSCHF, a company that makes viral products, to make a special edition of Nike Air Max 97s, known as the "Satan Shoes." The shoes sold out in under a minute and the final pair, #666, was given out via a Twitter lottery. They were priced at $i,018, a reference to the Bible passage Luke 10:18, which reads: "I saw Satan autumn like lightning from heaven."

The release of the shoes, as well every bit the music video for the runway, which sees Nas sliding downwards a pole into Hell and grinding on the Devil, garnered controversy among religious and conservative groups. However, the backlash only helped the song's popularity.
