Dedicated MINI Dealership features dramatic design and fun

Not everything is bigger in Texas! Last night Plano celebrated the grand opening of MINI's newest dealership. Sewell MINI of Plano is now open and features dramatic interior and outside design, along with plenty of features for a family-friendly showroom and service experience.

"We are excited to be the sectional MINI dealer in Collin Canton," said Carl Sewell, chairman and CEO of Sewell Automotive Companies. "This was the perfect opportunity to add an iconic make to our network of dealerships and we look forward to showcasing our tradition of superior service to new and established MINI enthusiasts."

The 23,000 square-foot showroom and service centre is not just a stunning brandish of architectural pattern, but is besides specifically designed with the customer in mind to brand buying and servicing a MINI more fun than e'er before. An arcade-style waiting expanse is open up for customers to either challenge each other at the Ten-Box station or try their skills on one of the vintage multi-game arcade machines; iPads are available for loan. For MINI customers who are just every bit passionate almost their pets as their cars, fully stocked car wash and pet wash stations will open later this year.

The interior features include a large highway mural on the ceiling, with a suspended fiberglass trunk of a MINI hardtop cruising over visitors' heads. Sewell as well commissioned a local artist, Wilhelmina Adams, to develop 4 custom paintings featuring the dealership's mascot, "Bull," an English bulldog. In that location is also a classic Mini on brandish in the showroom, it'southward positioned going through one of the facility's interior walls.

The exterior was completed in MINI's traditional manner, with black walls and big make logo displays. An added feature can be seen at night, when 180 feet of LED lights polish from the soffits and mimic the irresolute colors of MINI vehicles' interior mood lighting.

Hundreds of guests attended the store's grand opening celebration on May 26, where they enjoyed a Battle of the Bands featuring The Spazmatics and Destroyer, a KISS cover band.  Guests were treated to delicious fare from Chef Kent Rathbun, more than 61 arcade-mode games and tunes spun by DJ Lucy Wrubel.

"This is truly a one-of-a-kind facility and reflects non merely MINI, but Sewell in every way," said Klint Guerry, full general manger of Sewell MINI of Plano. "
